This project focuses on solar performance.  The program is that of an office headquarters for a fabricated company, The Icarus Corporation. The title is invoked by two buildings representing father and sun, adorned with prominent solar arrays representing wings. A five storey exterior stair corridor frames a river view, representing a long fall to the sea. The design is safe, accessible, adaptable, and sustainabile. The building is an open office and research facility for employees as well as a showcase for high performance architectural technology.
